Enterprise plan

Onboarding and offboarding

So the first day and the last do not depend on somebody remembering.

The problem it solves

The induction plan lives in the head of whoever runs HR and in an email that gets forwarded. Somebody joins on Monday and by Tuesday still has no computer, no accounts and nothing signed. And when somebody leaves, the urgent thing is the final pay: keys, laptop and system access go unrevoked, sometimes for months.

What it actually does

  • 01

    Define the process once

Create the processes you need — standard joiner, remote joiner, voluntary leaver, end of contract — with their tasks, and from then on everybody follows the same path.

  • 02

Every task with an owner and a day

Who does it and which day of the process it falls on: first day, first week, day thirty. Twelve tasks in a row are a burden; spread across days, they are a plan.

  • 03

Starts on its own when somebody is created

One tick on the new-employee form and the process starts with them. Pick nothing and it uses the one you marked as default.

  • 04

    Documents count towards progress

The signed contract or the risk policy are hooked to the process from the document compliance catalogue. When the person hands them in, the bar advances with nobody ticking anything.

  • 05

    One card per person

Photo, role, departments and how far along they are. On finishing it turns green with the closing date, and the ones still running stay in front.

  • 06

The exit, with the same discipline

Handover, exit interview, equipment return, access revocation, final pay and the leaving certificate. What gets forgotten is always the same, and it is what costs most.

What changes day to day

Onboarding and offboarding

  • Nobody starts without a computer, accounts or a contract
  • A leaver’s access is closed the day they leave
  • The plan stops depending on one person’s memory
  • You see at a glance who is stuck and at which step

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, as many as you need: onboarding somebody in the office is not the same as remote, nor an intern the same as a director. One is marked as default and is the one offered automatically when somebody is created; the rest are picked by hand.
